So fucking vote you fucking fucks! Let’s erase the conservatives.

That's cute but your just voting for a different shade of shit. Politicians are scum regardless of which side of the aisle they sit.

Well aren’t you just a ray of sunshine... Do Oppo a favor, and don’t make threatening remarks toward ANY of our members.

I dont vote unless there’s a candidate I can believe in. And for the second time in a row, no shits given to any of them.

Fuck redneck conservatives
Fuck pussy hippie smug liberals
Fuck people that say fuck both and don’t give a shit about politics
Fuck people that are obsessed with politics.
Only thing on Earth that matters is love, peace, and racecars.

How is this threatening? I find it almost comical.

Erase the conservatives? Seriously?
![]() 10/19/2015 at 00:35 |

He simply means to undo the wrong they have done to our country. That’s not a threat towards any of our members, AFAIK.

The simple fact is that regardless of what someone thinks about the politics of a country, encouraging others to “erase” a certain demographic is a threatening gesture.

Seriously. You’re overreacting.

I read it as voting out the Conservative party, not erasing the people with views who align with the Conservative party. Not the way I would've chosen to word that post, but I really don't think it was intended to be threatening

Sooo... all those stories of your Mexican upbringing are lies? You are a Canadian after all? I’m confused.

Been a number of posts today about voting and Canadian elections.
Damn, you guys are pretty outspoken.
Guess the Conservatives and Harper have run their course.
But, he’s been there for a while. Kinda like Bush got voted out cause everybody was tired of him. Now we have Obama and he has run his course and everybody is tired of him.
Politics is politics no matter where you go.
Vote, you Canucks.
I’ll pick up my free copy of the Edmonton Journal on Tuesday and see how it all went.

Bush didn't get voted out. He reached term limit.

Ah yes, another “It’s super important to go vote (the way we say you should)” movements. I think South Park covered that with P. Diddy’s Vote or Die about a decade ago...

Yes, but as long as they have the legal ability to pick your pocket and tell you what to do, you need to stop them from being stupid.
They follow the following logic: All cats have four legs. My dog has four legs. Therefore my dog is a cat.
In terms a political operative understands: Something must be done. This is something. Therefore we must do it.
The problem is that it is darn near impossible to sell the idea of “Doing Nothing” even when that is the correct move, due to demagoguery.

don’t vote.
it only encourages them.

“Erase the conservatives” In context of an election is not a threat. Erasing the conservatives would be an (extreme) change in government, with the way a parliament works. Erasing the conservatives would simply mean that all of the Conservative party (I.E. Steven Harper and his corrupt brand of government) would no long have ANY chairs left. (not a likely outcome) but i doubt the Harper Government will survive this election as the ruling government
It’s the same thing as “I’m going to beat your ass so bad” before a drag race, which is not a threat, in context. In a bar after a few rounds ... that might be considered a threat.

I guess I worded that wrong. I should have said the Republicans got axed and a Democrat was elected. Same thing now. Democrats are probably out and something new will take their place. Too bad be only have 2 real contending political parties. I voted for Gary Johnson in the last election. I knew it was a throw away vote but...

Yeah, we just traded one brand of incompetence for another. Oh well, what can you do?

Sir I am an anarchist. I believe for real change to occur our government must be abolished, restructured, and then restarted in a manner that reflects not only the entire populations vote, but also in a modernized fashion so we don’t get these meteoric economic rise and falls we’ve seen since the mid 1800’s. Clearly our shit ain’t together and I’m pretty sure everyone from Left to Right can agree. I am an Anarchist and I believe in change. Which is why I vote.
